CBAN Silicon Valley is a membership-based all-volunteer organization. Benefits of becoming an angel member is regular invites to our pitch events, invites to our partners’ demo days and access to extra further deal flow, including further early stage companies, Series A/B companies and special opportunities for secondary sales of late stage pre-IPO companies. The goal is to grow our membership with individuals who are able to contribute back to the group including deal flow, subject matter expertise, company pre-pitch diligence and post-pitch deal leads. You must be an accredited investor to join as an angel member, a University of Chicago graduate or referred by an existing member.
We also offer associate memberships to non-accredited investors. The intent of these memberships is to provide exposure to angel investing for individuals who are earlier in their career. Associate members are asked to be actively involved in the diligence process, such as attending demo days, pre-pitch screening and diligence calls, event prep and more.
